Louis hails from a horse farming family in the hills of southern Indiana, but discovered his passion for wine far away in upstate Maine working at the idyllic Migis Lodge as a wine captain. He went on to be a sommelier in Chicago, and retail wine buyer in Indianapolis before making the move to Napa Valley in 2009.
Since landing in wine country, Louis has worked for some of Napa’s most iconic vintners including Jean-Charles Boisset and Francis Ford Coppola. In 2018 he saw fit to finally pursue his dream and started his own small label – “Alinda” – which will land at The Find in early 2020.
A proud son of Boston, Andrew spent his formative years on the east coast as a fine wine retailer. In 2005 he made the move to Napa to pursue his dream of becoming a vintner. In 2007 that dream was realized when he launched AJ-Pearce wines with his partner, winemaker Jared Pearce.
In 2012 Andy added a Pinot Noir to his repertoire in launching Solamente. As if two wine brands weren’t enough, he opened The Wine Thief, a wine tasting collective in Napa Valley in 2014 – and was voted “Best Wine Bar” in Napa by Napa Valley Life magazine in 2018.
Jason Moore is Texan through and through. Big, strong and no stranger to hard work, he was always drawn to the farming aspect of winemaking. Jason moved to Napa in 2002 after falling in love with wine while working in some of Dallas’ top restaurants, and began the long task of learning winemaking the hard way.
In 2004 at just 26 years old Jason launched Modus Operandi Wines. Since its humble 200 case beginning it has grown to be one of the most talked about cult Cabernets in Napa, with its 2013 and 2015 “Collection” Cabernet Sauvignon receiving 97 points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate.
